Welcome to Nisha Kittan
Don't forget to get involved in our upcoming Camp Work Days on May 23rd (Joy & CWL) & June 19th (Sunnen & Van). Arrowmen willing to provide cheerful service needed.
Unit adults should read Wolf Tracks, our guide for unit leaders - it will provide a wealth of information about our lodge and the Order of the Arrow. Our Brotherhood Study Guide will help you on your path to sealing your membership! (You will need to know what type of animal our totem is to open this document.)
NOAC, the National Order of the Arrow Conference, will be at Michigan State University. Check out the flyer, then fill out the registration form, or register online, to become a part of the biggest and best OA experience! Registrations will be accepted until further notice!
A Call to Service
Nisha Kittan Lodge, the premier lodge in the region, in association with the national Order of the Arrow and the American Hiking Society will be hosting a National Trails Day at Camp Warren Levis in Godfrey, IL to reclaim the defunct Rocky Fork Trail on June 2, 2012. The service will begin at 8:00 A.M. and proceed throughout the day. Everyone should bring water and a sack lunch as it will be eaten on the trail. Please plan to attend this opportunity to provide much needed service to one of our camps. Although this is an Order of the Arrow sponsored event it is open to all scouts and scouters even if not an OA member.

| Spring Fellowship |
Our 2012 Spring Fellowship, themed "The Man with the Golden Sash", was an absolute success - a weekend filled with brotherhood, cheerful service, good food, and fun activities. Service was rendered throughout Camp Joy, including "The Waterfront" and Ruehl Lodge. Many projects originally planned were dropped due to the heavy rains encountered through mid-day Saturday, but many alternate projects were accomplished in their place. Six arrowmen sealed their membership in our lodge, and forty-six served their Ordeal. The lodge officers and members of the LEC deserve a huge "thank you" from everyone for their hard work, planning, and dedication to making this event a very enjoyable success! |
