MICHIGAMEA CHAPTER MEETING
March 1st, 2012

Meeting started at 7:20 with introductions.
The Chapter Adviser had a discussion with the Vice Chapter Chief Zach R. and the OA Troop Election’s Chairman, Matt H.
The Arrowmen discussed the Native American Cultural Weekend 2012, which will be the forthcoming weekend March 2 through March 4. All Arrowmen and Boy Scouts are invited and encouraged to come.
Next, Arrowmen discussed volunteering for Arrow of Light and Crossover Ceremonies. Any Arrowman wishing to volunteer for the upcoming AOL/CO ceremonies are encouraged to contact either AOL/CO Co-Chairman, Connor F. or Chapter Adviser, Pirate Mike.
The next discussion centered on OA Troop Elections. Arrowman were reminded that they must be done by April 30th. Michigamea Chapter is divided into two teams for the elections. Matt H. is the Chairman and his area covers the Southern part of the chapter and Andrew P. is the Co-Chairman of the OA Election Teams, and his area covers the Northern half the of the chapter. Arrowman were reminded that the OA Election Chairman’s would be contacting them for assistance with the OA Elections.
The remainder of the meeting the Brotherhood members talked to Ordeal Arrowmen to encourage them to go through their brotherhood conversion ceremony at the Spring Fellowship. Brotherhood members discussed the steps on how to become a Brotherhood member.
The OA Troop Election Chairman, Matt H. and Pirate Mike addressed the Scout Leaders, at the Round Table meeting, of the forthcoming OA Troop Elections. Pirate Mike also spoke with the Cub Scout Pack Leaders about forthcoming AOL/CO Ceremonies.
To date, the Michigamea Chapter has accomplished 7 of 9 AOL/CO Ceremonies scheduled for 2012.
The meeting was closed at 7:55 with the OA song.
