Members present:

Youth: Mathew H, NathanB, Nick K and Matt H.

Adults: Bryan DuClos, Jeff Farris, Michael “Pirate Mike” Kuehnle, Ron Wolf and Jeff Hooten.

The meeting started with the OA Obligation.

Then the members celebrated with Pizza and Soda.

The following areas were reviewed and discussed:

The 2011 Arrow of Light and Cross-Over Ceremonies- have been completed.

The 2011’s Troop OA Elections show the following progress:

                3 troops have had their election accomplished,

                6 troops do not require elections, and

                9 troops have set dates for their elections.

Encouraged members to attend the 2011 OA Spring Fellowship, April 8 – 10, held at Camp Joy.

Brotherhood Conversion Program- All eligible Ordeal members were contacted either by e-mail or by mail to participate at the 2011 OA Spring Fellowship.

Please pay them ASAP and encourage troop OA members to do the same

Michigamea Logo/Legend/Jackets-

1.       Reviewed the logo, the chapter requirements to earn the jacket.

2.       Discussed the idea of requesting the Lodges approval to order t-shirts and hats for members of the Michigamea chapter

3.       Discussed the Michigamea legend.

The OA High Adventure Program was reviewed.  Two OA members from Troop 332, will be going to Philmont this year to participate in this program. 

Michigamea Chapter Service Project-

                OA members were encouraged to save and collect retired American, State, and POW flags .

Michael “Pirate Mike” Kuehnle on behalf of the Michigamea Ceremonies team, handed out “Arrow of Light/Cross Over” certificates to Packs that held ceremonies this year.

OA members were reminded of the Nisha Kittan’s , April 17^th, Pancake Breakfast.
