Nisha Kittan Lodge has six elected officers; Chief, Vice-Chief of Administration, Vice-Chief of Program, Vice-Chief of Publications, Secretary, and Treasurer. These positions are filled by youth members who want to help guide the Lodge by giving and sharing their time and advice; who want our members to have fun in the Order of the Arrow and enjoy the experiences it offers; and who are willing to give 100% in everything they do.
The Lodge Chief is the presiding officer at all lodge events and lodge meetings. He has the right to direct the other officers and members in their duties and responsibilities; he signs approved waivers for Boy Scout Troops from our Council that allow the call‐out of their Scouts at another council’s camping facilities; appoints one of the Vice Chiefs to the duties of Chief for the duration of a known absence; and fulfills all other duties assigned to his office in the Lodge Bylaws, the current Order of the Arrow Handbook, and the Guide for Officers and Advisers.
