Nisha Kittan Lodge

This committee works with the members of the Chapters' Troop Representative committees to provide a critical link between the Lodge Executive Committee and the Troops in every district; and works with all other lodge committees to promote and assist recruiting committee members.

This committee sends out information about yearly unit elections for the Order of the Arrow. The information contains procedures, times, and various material about when and where the elections are to be conducted. The committee ensures that members of each Chapter's Elections committee visit the Troops in their district who are required to have an election, and verifies that all elections are properly conducted and completed.

This committee is responsible for publishing a list of members who are eligible for the Vigil Honor; evaluating all nominations, ensuring that all relevant information about any members not directly known to the committee is obtained; selecting only those who have demonstrated their worthiness of the Vigil Honor; selecting appropriate names for those chosen; planning and implementation of the Vigil weekend; and properly completing all necessary paperwork required by both the Lodge and the National Order of the Arrow.
