The awards committee has finished the selection process for the 2010 Founder’s Award.  We have also set a deadline for next year’s Founder’s Award nominations.  The deadline is June 3^rd, the Friday before the summer camp season starts.

The awards committee has set two goals:

1.  Create and follow a time line or when nominations are chosen and other deadlines

2.  Continue to maintain the high standards set by both lodges when considering nominees.

Both the time line and standards are being met. There is a deadline for the Founder's Award of June 4, 2010, giving the committee that chooses the award(s) plenty of time to make their decision before the fall fellowship and changing of the lodge administration.

Other than this the award committee has no further pending awards that need discussion at this time.

The Awards Committee also recently provided the Lodgemaster personnel with a complete list of former Taleka Lodge Founder's Award recipients as the original information was not inclusive.
