Scoutreach at Summer Camp

Nisha Kittan Lodge, along with Lewis and Clark Council, is sponsoring a week at summer camp for youth from the Scoutreach program.  This week of camp will occur July 4-10 at Camp Joy, and will help 24 youth members of the Scoutreach program experience a week of summer camp they otherwise might never enjoy.  The LEC approved this program in April and now we are looking for volunteer help.  We are in need of 8 youth LEC members to staff this camp.  This program needs your help to be a true success. 

 

Please take a moment and consider if you have the time to help others by giving something back to scouting.  Fill out the application and return it to the Scout Office (Attention Lodge LEC) by June 1st.

 

With your help 24 young men who might not otherwise have the opportunity can experience a traditional summer camp.

Project 2013


Project 2013 is recruiting 700 Arrowmen to serve on the Order of the Arrow staff at the 2013 National Scout Jamboree.  It will be comprised of three groups: Jamboree Trek Guides, Day of Service Guides, and the OA Service Corps.  The Project 2013 Corps will be structured similar to a lodge with program leadership and chapters; it will be a youth run program at the 2013 National Scout Jamboree led by Order of the Arrow leaders from around the country.  Flyer Webpage
