I am very grateful for the work all of you have done for the Lodge.  It has been an honor to work with you and I hope to see you again next year, either as returning members of the LEC or as one of my brothers in cheerful service.  Those of you serving in Chairman jobs, please have a folder of all the things you have done over this year completed by the time our new LEC comes into effect.  While we had a busy year and tried to get a lot done, we really need to concentrate this next year on getting reports in and the committees under VCA need to conduct meetings either in person or by email so the chapter committee members and the committee chairs can establish a working relationship and get some things accomplished.  I must be included on all emails.

I have requested a monthly email update be sent from my lodge committee chairmen so I can keep up with their programs.  The emails should state the status of their respective programs, and ask for feedback in the way of ideas to improve or add to the program as it stands now.

I also asked that the committee members reply back in some way with ideas or agreement about the program.

As of the 19th of May, I have recieved three reports; Unit Elections, Camping Promotions and Awards. The Unit Elections report focused on the late elections that would have to take place. The Camping Promotion report was focused on getting the camping dvds and getting the committee members to take pictures of the camps. The Award's report mentioned that the awards committee had already set the Founder's Award deadline at June 4, 2010 and that there were no outstanding awards.
